Bio

Currently dual board-certified in Interventional Radiology and Diagnostic Radiology, Dr. Stein has received specialized training from the nation’s top hospitals including Weill Cornell Medical Center, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, Hospital for Special Surgery, and Northwestern Medical Center.

Dr. Stein specializes in performing minimally-invasive vascular treatments for osteoarthritis and peripheral vascular disease. This includes embolization procedures such as geniculate artery embolization (GAE), a safe and effective non-surgical treatment for chronic knee pain. He utilizes the latest techniques to treat peripheral arterial disease, venous disease, varicose veins and blood clots. He also is one of the few regional doctors experienced in prostate artery embolization (PAE), an effective non-surgical treatment of enlarged prostates (BPH), helping men to get back to living their lives with minimal disruption. He also treats women suffering from pelvic congestion and painful bleeding fibroids (uterine fibroid embolization, gonadal vein embolization).

Dr. Stein has a compassionate approach to care, ensuring that patient goals are met while adhering to rigorous evidence-based practice and safety standards.
